Perfect location overlooking the ocean. The house is well equipped and furnished with everything you need for your stay. It was absolutely clean and recently renovated. We did not find any water/bug/humidity problems in the house (opposed to what was stated in some earlier reviews). Communication with the host was easy and clear. Parking is onsite that is a big plus.

Villa Esmeralda was an excellent base for us in Ponta Delgada. We booked it specifically for the kitchen so we could make our own breakfast every day, and the included parking (this is so handy in Ponta Delgada, where street parking can be very hard to find!). Checking in using a code or phone app was easy, and the apartment was really spacious and nice for our stay.

The duplex apartment is functional and luxurious, we particularly loved the extra large bed and the well equipped kitchen too. The weather was amazing so we got to use the outside pool as it was warm enough to swim Caloura is perfectly located to explore the island and enjoy some quiet time. 10 out of 10! We had a stunning view from the balcony, in the kitchen there was everything we needed and the apartment was very clean and spacious. The personnel of the hotel was very lovely and available to help us in every way possible. Nearby swimming pool is a big plus!
We stayed in one of the apartments. Location is close to the main route, around 20 minutes drive to Ponte Delgada. It was quite easy to park. A good restaurant is available in the resort. They offered us towels for the times we visited the hot springs which was a plus.
