The property and furnishings were nice and the apartment we had on a ground floor with a garden was spacious with sliding doors to close off the two bedrooms from the kitchen. The kitchen was fully equipped and you could easily cook meals for the children. The pool on the second floor, even though small, was ideal for small children. There's also a minibar in the room with some drinks and snacks.

Perfect location overlooking the ocean. The house is well equipped and furnished with everything you need for your stay. It was absolutely clean and recently renovated. We did not find any water/bug/humidity problems in the house (opposed to what was stated in some earlier reviews). Communication with the host was easy and clear. Parking is onsite that is a big plus.

It was close to the sea and not far from the village centre.

The apartment was very nice and clean. The terrace had a beautiful view on the ocean protected by window shields, which was the perfect location to enjoy a calm breakfast or a drink at sunset.
Breakfast option is available but decided to not have the service.
The bathroom was equipped with shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, hairdryer and big towels. Towels for the swimming pool were provided too. The bed was big and comfortable.
The swimming pool and the terrace are lovely to chill after a day of going around the island.
Staff was friendly and helpful and provided all the information via text.
There are some cards of restaurants available in the hall in case you need suggestions but we also cooked in the kitchen one night: very helpful to have the small bags of olive oil, vinaigrette, pepper and salt as well as the Microwave and the toaster.
A car is needed.

Quinta da Paz is a perfect place to calm down and relax! The gardens are amazing with the avocado and mandarin trees and we enjoyed the eggs of the chickens. Claudia is super friendly and gives you a lot of tips about the island. Also the jacuzzi is great to relax in after a day of hiking (just be aware that it closes at 19:00h). There is a supermarket within walking distance. There are also bikes available.
