We came back to the hotel for a second stay as it is very nice, and in a good location for what we wanted to do. The staff greeted us again in a very friendly manner and the little restaurant next door was a very pleasant place for us to eat numerous meals, with a very friendly and helpful owner. The kitchen has a medium sized fridge, electric stove (stored in one of the drawers), basic utensils and tableware, 1 pot and 1 pan.
It is located next to Nizwa fort. Lot of restaurants and shops near by. Taxi stand is right next to the apartment. I did meet the owner and he is such a humble person. He made sure we had a great stay in his apartment.
The owner restored and modernised the flat with lots of effort. It is only pitty that tilesmen and plumber screwed up (for example, the water from bath tub runs on the floor, not in the waste pipe (so mind your feet).
The apartment is in the very center of the city, which is perfect. Plus. you can park right outside the house (even though there is paid parking zone everywhere around, but on at this curb)
