For the travellers who appreciate a space of their own at the end of the day, an apartment or flat is the perfect home away from home. The apartment was definitely bigger than expected and very well equipped. Incredible value for money, would suit a couple or small family. I recommend this place.
Kind owner, clean apartments, everything was alright. You can use well equiped kitchen and sitting area in the garden. Also, there is the good restaurant in the city nearby the accommodation.
Very big apartment but given the very limited functionality of the kitchen, I would choose just a room instead of an apartment and eat outside in some of the restaurants on the street.
FYI: you need cca 1h 20 min drive by car from the apartment to the Jabal balcony walk.
The hotel is in the renovated, original omani old house and it definitely has some spirit. It has a lot of place to share time with other guests inside and a big terrace with great view to the old village and mountains. The bathroom is pretty big, the room not so much but enough for short stay (no closet or table). If you want to feel the atmosphere of the old times it is a place for you.
