The unit's location was close to Lake Rotoroa, Hamilton Gardens and very close to Hamilton Central, which made getting around very easy. The unit had been renovated beautifully and to a high standard; it was clean, simple, accessible and calming, which was exactly what we were looking for - it was a nice touch of luxury for our holiday. We felt safe and secure at night, the neighbours were quiet, and we felt at ease our whole stay.
You could tell the hosts had thought of all the little things - there was even a small first aid kit and spills and stains kit, which I've not seen at any other accommodation I've travelled to. An added bonus was daily visits and cuddles from the neighbour's cat, Rex. He was a big ol' cuddle bug, and very well behaved (he would stay in the living room and not follow you into the bedrooms or bathroom, and wouldn't complain toooo much when he had to be put out)- if you're cat people like me, you are in luck!

The property is spacious and was perfect for our requirements. The kitchen is well laid out and rooms were comfortable. The location is a little far away but worth the extra travel. The hosts were excellent and communication was great.

We had a very short stay as we were en route but everything worked out perfectly. Loved the history and pictures of staff etc of The Old School.... lovely touch.

Parking: Outside the front door, plenty space to turn the vehicle around, and the ground it flat.
Hosting: Friendly and great to talk too. Most places give you a code to get into the property and you never see the host person.
Food: Tasty bread and fresh farm eggs Is a treat.
Clean: Very clean property.
Linen: Plenty towels, hand towels etc
Warmth: 2 lovely heat pumps.
Environment: Peaceful, quiet, comfortable, and much history in the Old School House.
Equipment: Has everything.
We arrived late and left early, so never actually got to meet the hosts, however my dealings with them on booking were very good and they were very helpful with allowing us to bring our dogs, and happily arranged a late check-in. The rooms are well-constructed and very sound-proof. The bathroom was roomy with a good shower. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed for our short stay. The hosts had kindly turned the heater on for us, so the room was lovely and warm when we arrived on a cold night.
Room was big and spacious and was situated within walking distance to our venue, literally next door. Thr apartment was so nicely presented, so clean and tidy. We could not find any fault at all. Thank you for the perfect apartment. Will definitely be coming to stay again soon.
