Clint and Helen were extremely helpful. We had a flat battery in our vehicle and they were able to let us park somewhere to charge it, and supplied an extension cord. We were a bit late coming back after a function, but Clint was still up, helpful and cheerful. Helen cooked us a lovely breakfast and saw us on our way to the ferry, telling us of a shortcut. Couldn't have been better.
The apartment was a whole ground floor very spacious with access to the beautiful serene garden and a hot spa.
It was beautifully decorated and well appointed, very quiet, peaceful and relaxing just minutes walk from the lake.
Convenient location for heading up to Rainbow ski area or checking out Nelson Lakes. Friendly staff, clean facilities, decent food at the restaurant. The family apartments are great for young families as there are separate rooms to put little ones to sleep early.
2 nights of comfort & warmth after hiking. The homemade shortbread & toffee sweets, the spa under the stars. Pip (& Kevin ) provide a great apartment style accommo, lovely friendly & share local knowledge. We'll be back.
We enjoyed the spaciousness of this apartment which sits under the hosts who lived above. It is at a lovely spot near Lake Rotoiti. The place has a rustic feel and is a nice place to relax. It also opens up to the back garden and veg patches. Friendly hosts and spared us a small jug of milk when we asked. Stargazing at the drive way was nice. Pip suggested we do the Mt Robert Loop and we enjoyed the hike very much as it had great views. Overall a very restful stay.
