An absolute gem of a find!! We couldn’t have been more thrilled with this beautiful, peaceful and ideal location in the middle of the rainforest. The facilities made sense, you had everything you needed and you are a short drive or walk from Abel Tasman. We would move in tomorrow if we could!

Great location 5 mins walk to the beach, the owners were lovely, made us feel so welcomed and very helpful! The unit was great, very spacious and everything we needed. Was the most equiped accommodation we have ever stayed out. Having the small things such as a glad wrap, sandwhich bags etc everything you needed if you were doing a day trip to the Abel. Great outdoor area with a bbq, loungers and outdoor furniture which is very sheltered.
Would highly recommend and we will be back!

The location was excellent and our apartment was spacious, very clean, with hot shower, and bed and pillows super comfy. Christa has thought of absolutely everything needed and it was such a beautiful, special place with gorgeous seaview, deck, and fantails perched high in the rainforest. Thanks for our lovely stay.
Ocean View Chalets are located in a wonderful location overlooking Sandy Bay. We booked one of the small studio rooms and whilst they are small it still had everything we needed. Marahau is a great location for exploring the Abel Tasman area. Great walks and plenty of opportunity for kayaking etc. There is a small store selling the basics and a bar serving meals. We would happily have stayed longer.
A lovely spacious apartment set in a peaceful and convenient location, up higher in the bush in Marahau - but still close to the main part of town and near the entrance to Abel Tasman National Park.
Christa arranged a day trip for us on the sea taxi to Te Rawa in the National Park with a complimentary pick up from Buena Vista.
Also a great base for a day drive up to enjoy Tākaka in Golden Bay.
