This place is wonderful. You get your own separate unit and they have everything you need from Tv, towels, microwave, fridge, washer, etc. it was conveniently located, at least for me, between all the attractions I was going to do while in the area which was Hamilton, Rotorua, and waitomo caves. The family is friendly and has two lovely dogs that love to say hello. As the name says, it’s in a rural area so the nearest down is about a 15 minute drive. It was amazing waking up to the sound of birds and not cars for once. Would definitely come back. Thank you again for everything 😊

They have a lovely home and the rental unit is easily separated so you can come and go easily. The bed was comfortable and a nice view over the park. They thought of guests needs and really provided what may be wanted. Nicely laid out for a good stay. The breakfast they provided was perfect and the little kitchenette made it so simple too.

This was a nice spot to overnight close to Hobbiton. The apartment is attached to a farm outbuilding in a rural area with very beautiful countryside surroundings. The host was very friendly.
The apartment was such a great space - both indoors and out! It had everything we needed. It is in a rural area and the views were beautiful, especially at sunset! It was so nice to have some breakfast items left for us, a lovely touch. Shona was such a wonderful hostess!

Great location is visiting the Hobbit Movie Set. We booked both places and had wrongly assumed that they were next to each other. The studio is down the road.
