We stayed five nights in the flat in June 2024. The owner's pictures of the flat are truthful, precise and gave us a very good description of what to expect.
We absolutely loved our stay.
In more detail, it needs to be mentioned, that
- the location is very nice, just at the harbour, very close to the town centre with harbour terminal, shops and restaurants. Nevertheless, the location is very quiet. We could leave our rental car just on the parking beside the building using EasyPark App or, after a brief search, park our car roadside for free.
- The flat is very well maintained, meticulously clean, luxuriously furnished and all appliances are on the newest high-end standard. The overall standard is very high. The flat is welcoming and cozy.
- Especially kitchen and bathroom are top notch.
- Accessibility is good, however, there are a few flat thresholds on the floor.
- Beds are very comfortable, not too soft, not too hard. The duvets are extremely cozy down duvets.
- The large bedroom is fine for two adults, we assume the beds are queen size. This bedroom has two opening windows, so one may enjoy a night in fresh and cool air.
- The second smaller bedroom has a queen size bed, which is only accessible from one side. So, it should be fine for one adult or maybe two kids as the second person sleeping behind the first will need to climb over the other person to get out of the bed. We assume kids wouldn't be bothered by someone climbing over them in order to get out, but adults may be. This second bedroom does not have a window.
- We always travel with two suitcases and we could find enough space in the flat to leave them open on the ground: One in the unility room and one below the desk in the smaller bedroom.
- Especially on the top floor, where the flat is located, the building is pretty hot and the air seems to be very dry. We opened the windows and balcony door to cool the flat down effectively.

Location to the center, size of the apartment were fantastic. The host arranged us taxi as well and was of great help with letting us leave our luggage.

Gorgeous apartment, good sized 1 bedroom with amenities like stove, oven, dishwasher, fridge and freezer so you can prepare food. In the bathroom there is a washing machine/dryer and a good shower. Could easily stay here for a while, it was warm and comfortable.
Check-in process was easy with the key at Lofoten Car Rental. We also hired a car from there, which all worked out really well.
The landlord was very kind to recommend an A&E hospital nearby so that my daughter can see the dr for her twisted knee. She got referred to another hospital for x ray scan which confirmed there was no fracture.
In terms of the apartment, there is nothing to complaint as it is in excellent conditions with views to the gar out as well as the church behind.
The location of the apartment is excellent- just 5 minutes walk from the pier and rental car pick up point which enables easy access from all over Svolvær

Perfect for a rorbuer experience. We had an entire apartment (2 rooms) for us.

The room is equipped with all appliance, if people want to stay longer, we had just one night.
Nice breakfast, but don't expect extreme variety, is served in a separate annex near the reception.
We loved our stay here. The weather was perfect and the deck was great to soak up the sun. We watched boats go in and out and people climbing the mountain. It was a well-equipped apartment with everything you need for a short stay. We were sad that we were only there for one night. Loved having a fan as the rooms in Norway can get hot with curtains closed to block out the midnight sun.
lovely little studio apartment located by Svolværgeita. It had everything we needed to be comfortable during our stay. Great place to be based for exploring the Lofoten Islands. Friendly and helpful hosts. Would definitely stay again.
