For me, Hotel Svartisen really exceeded my expectations: my room was clean, quiet, and surprisingly large! Parking was very easy right behind the hotel, the loft bed felt very cosy, and I liked the bathroom with its nicely heated floor. While the hotel did not offer breakfast, there is a large shopping centre and grocery store within walking distance, and on either side of the block are restaurants if one prefers to eat out. My room included a small kitchenette, so home-cooked meals are also an option for the budget-conscious.
PARKING: Open air inner courtyard, but in case of the apartment you can put your motorcycle just in front of your door under the cover. Really appreciate that!
CHECK-IN: easy and quick. I came late and had no waiting time.
STAFF: nice and friendly despite my late arrival
SIZE: huge. A nice one bathroom apartment with one large bedroom, but a huge kitchen-living area for at least 4 people.
