This is a wonderfully well equipped accommodation in a very special location on the tiny fishing island of Husøy. The apartment has fantastic views across the fjord to the mountains beyond (which the photos on the listing don’t do justice) and due to the positioning of the building, it feels very private and secluded. Everything in the property is of a very high quality. The bed is really comfortable and the shower amazing. It is an excellent place to stay, as a location in itself, and as a base for exploring the dramatic landscapes of northern Senja. The oyster catchers on the rocks outside was a bonus.
Hus Retro is located in Gryllefjord and offers a shared lounge. The property features sea and mountain views. The accommodation provides an ATM and a minimarket for guests.

A really nice old house on two floors. Beds for seven, plus a couple of sofas. Here you have practically everything. Kitchen with furniture, washing machine, etc. Extra point for very near (60m) location to ferry. We left bikes in line, and vent to accommodation.

Very large apartment with very nice view of fjord. Apartment is located at the front row so there is no any building to block the view. Equipment is well maintenance. Staff is friendly and helpful. Parking is free.
The seaside apartment was perfect. Nice views all around the apartment from the terrace. All the necessary facilities were available and the staff was very helpful.
This apartment is situated somewhere at the end of world in the very quite village near the fjord. It is really roomy and comfortable. We had enough place for a family of five people, well equipped kitchen and bathroom. When being at Mefjordvaer we immediately felt the atmosphere of small and lovely village.
Sebastian is a wonderful host that prepared a house to our late arrival and helped us to organize a nice boat safari.
What a great time in Norway and your place was one of our favorites. Getting up in the morning and looking across the fjord to Senja and Hesten was amazing then the breakfast was wonderful. The apartment was clean and well supplied.

Very tastefully decorated and the bed was very comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped although we could not find a can opener to open a can but not an issue.
Stayed for 3 nights and the place is quiet and peaceful with a partial sea view but it is just a few minutes walk to the sea. We saw the most spectacular Northern lights our first night there .
The view was fantastic. And fishing from the floating jetty was excellent. Caught countless pollocks and cods. The apartment was very specious and it even had an air conditioning unit in the living room. Best place we've stayed in the 2 weeks we were touring Norway.
The apartment was very nice, spacious and clean with excellent view to the fjord and mountains. Different beautiful hiking tracks nearby suitable for kids as well as experiences adults.
We booked a small place for 2+1 and initially I felt it was very costly. But we got upgraded to a 5 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment. Ofcourse, we cannot use all the bedrooms but just 2. But we enjoyed the views from all the windows and large terrace and the location looked really good. Terrace was overlooking the sea and the other side has mountains. Very good apartment and I am happy especially because of the upgrade.
