Am Norvin from India and this is my first night in Norway at Idyllisk Lite. The stay is beautiful, and we had an amazing time with many wonderful moments. The place is very calm and quiet, full of love. I have traveled to many countries, and this has been my favorite place to stay. It’s a perfect, charming spot for couples.
Moreover, Anne, the owner, is an incredibly kind person. She treats her guests like her own family. In my Indian culture, we say "atithi devo bhava," which means "The guest is equivalent to God." Anne guided us on where to travel in Norway and shared insights about Norwegian culture along with her fascinating stories. We even went out for a lovely dinner with her. It was my first experience with an accommodation owner being so hospitable. Additionally, since it was a Saturday night and we couldn’t buy alcohol outside the shops, she offered us free wine and beer. We initially declined, but she insisted, sharing her generosity with us.
To my friends and others reading this review, I assure you that you will be 100% satisfied with your stay here.

Everything was renewed and used materials were luxurious . Very good beds and fully equipped kitchen. Even a washing machine was available. We made use of the patio outside for breakfast

The wood stove was nice.
It was nice the owner arranged a last minute booking, because we needed to stay in Larvik longer then planned, (due to no ferry going).

Beautiful little garage conversion into a studio. Has everything you need for a couple of days stay.
It’s on the property of the owners which means they are nearby should you need anything.
Short 15 minutes walk to the centre of town, which has plenty of shops, cafes and a lovely harbour.

We used it for an overnight stay prior to catching the early morning ferry. The apartment was clean, relatively comfortable and equipped with everything we needed.
Irina the host is lovely. She will help you with anything. The apartment is lovely and airy and all the rooms are a good size and have all the amenities you will need. The location is great - down by the water and very central and the price is great. The cheapest place in Larvik that I have found and value for money exceeds everything.
Highly recommended! Stayed in the standard studio for one night before taking the boat to Hirtshals the next morning. The accommodation is clean and very cosy. The studio also has everything you need to prepare a cup of coffee or to prepare a meal. The staff is very nice and welcoming and it’s easy to get in touch with them before and during the stay.
We had a great stay at Caterine's apartment, it's very modern and well equipped. Caterine was very flexible and even let us check in ahead on time! We really enjoyed our stay there and can only recommend the apartment!
Great flat, lots of space, private terrace with nice views over the fields and farms. Quiet. Very well equipped. Flat is over two floors with private entrance, but attached to proprietors house. We were only there for a night, so can’t say much about area. very close to Ferry Terminal in Larvik though. Extremely friendly and helpful host.
