The Gardermoen house is divided into 3 separate apartments, all with kitchenettes and full baths. You can rent one, two, or all three. They are clean but dated with no frills. Parking is provided. There is nothing to see or do here, but it serves as a handy overnighter just minutes from the airport.
Close location to airport and much cheaper compared to the radisson hotels. The shuttle bus costs 42nok one trip. Breakfast is decent and starts at 4am. Bed is comfortable. Perfect for a short stay.
I realized upon my arrival that the apartment is a bit further away, so I have to take the bus. Clumsily arriving at some bus stop, I was helped by the host: she picked me up and drove me to the apartment as well as back to the airport the next day. I really appreciated the kindness and willingness to help out. Further, the apartment is nicely furnished, clean and silent, so you can generally get a good night's sleep.
