The appartment was much larger than I'd expected. It has a great atmosphere and is located right in the middle of Stavoren. I spent only the night in the appartment and basically only for sleeping so it is difficult to give a thorough review. It suffices to state that the Hanzehuis will be my preferred choice for a next overnight stay in Stavoren.
For travelers who appreciate a space of their own at the end of the day, an apartment or flat is the perfect home away from home. Furnished rooms and kitchen facilities give groups and families the flexibility to enjoy downtime separately or plan the next day’s activities over a shared meal. Often available for short and long-term.
Love the combination of farm and stay, the apartments are right next to the stables and open access to the cows for a chat with the ladies. Our little man was full on busy with feeding them! There’s a playground, toys and everyone and everything is very laid back and easy going.
The apartment is spacious and clean. The properties is a very short stroll to the village centre.

Lovely place to stay - reasonably close to the sea, fascinating historical village and windmill nearby, peace and quiet in a countryside landscape. Very much enjoyed contact with the owner of the apartment.
Friendly owner met us with a wide smile. Nice and comfortable apartments, with all the equipment you need to prepare meals. Clean and well mintained. Note: It is actually a farm, so if you like animals (goats, cows, cats, rabbits...) this is the right place for you. We had some plans for bike-rides in the area, but we cancelled everything and stay at the farm, since our kids really like animals.
