The location of the property was excellent, you are right by the beach front and the town. The B&B was very clean and comfortable. The jacuzzi was amazing on a cold night. The host was very nice. Great stay.

the location was perfect in very quite, beutiful and elegant popular neighborhood at the same time very close to the tourist street and the ferries area.
I liked the details inside the cottage, it is very comfortable and has an authentic Dutch character in every corner. Wi-Fi is available in the cottage and upon entering there are instructions for all the details.
Self-check-in via a code to collect the key. Just for your information, the bathroom is on the ground floor and in the second floor only there are beds (1 quien bed and 2 single beds) ,
also knowing that there is a sofa on the ground floor that can be slept on in case it is difficult for the elderly to climb upstairs.

We loved the location and accessibility! It was perfect for our stay with our mom and a private place to relax at the end of our trip. The space was bright and uncluttered with comfortable and plentiful seating in the living area. The outdoor table was an added bonus and parking was easy. The old town/waterfront was an easy stroll, grocery as well. We would definitely return to delightful Monnickendam.

The attic apartment has a lot of old world charm. It is located in the pedestrian zone, but still very quiet. A bottle of water and cookies left on the table were a nice touch. The apartment is large, well equipped and very clean. Instructions for finding and entering the apartment were very clear.

Furnished rooms and kitchen facilities give groups and families the flexibility to enjoy downtime separately or plan the next day’s activities over a shared meal. Perfect location in the middle of the Main Street with good views. With the entrance in the cafe made it extraordinary, the kids loved it! Comfortable beds. Beds linen and towels included. Very friendly hosts, gave us lots of good information about the apartment and the apartment and area!

Absolutely brilliant. Kevin was always on hand to help us out with great communication up to and during our stay. The accommodation itself was super clean, spacious, and comfortable for a family of 5 we found it perfect. The location is amazing. Bus stop 2 mins away and 20 mins you're in Amsterdam. Also locally there are bars,shops, and restaurants within 5 mins walk and a supermarket just down the road you have everything on your doorstep. Picture perfect apartment that won't disappoint 👌

Volendam Museum, which is just a short walk up the road is a real treasure trove of information. It’s really well laid out and very very cheap to get in. I discovered a group called the cats who were really big in the 60s and 70s, and it’s just my kind of music.
The Hotel Old Dutch is right on the road/walkway that separates it from the marina. All the shops and eateries are just a short walk from the entrance. A bicycle rental shop is about a minute away. The area has incredible charm. The beds and pillows were okay in terms of comfort. The morning breakfast was solid and included smoked salmon and fresh fruit. We arrived via train from Amsterdam Central, followed by an approximate 3-5 minute walk to the hotel.
The landlord was really great, the rental price was quite reasonable and the apartment was clean and in a very good location. Neighbors and Dutch people were really warm and friendly, and willingly helped me when I was a little obsessed with parking.
