Excellent, homely tiny house with lots of eye for detail at great location. Very nice hosts. Even though it was tiny, it was comfortable to stay and included a small outdoor seating place.

Our family had an excellent time staying at Residentie Californië. The location was perfect, offering easy access to the stunning beach where we spent countless hours soaking up the sun (when possible) and playing in the sand. A visit to Eco Mare was a highlight, providing a fascinating glimpse into the island's marine life and conservation efforts. The unique experience of sheep hugging was a delightful and heartwarming activity that we all enjoyed. The apartment itself was comfortable and well-equipped, making it a perfect home away from home. We highly recommend Texel for a fun and relaxing family getaway!

The apartment was very clean, comfortable and well-stocked with coffee/tea, toilet paper and towels. The bed was comfortable and the sofas/chairs were also very fluffy, perfect for settling down and watching some TV after cycling for the whole day. The shower was very relaxing, with great water pressure! And, of course, the person who checked us in and helped us during our stay was 5 stars, even allowing us to leave our bags inside the building after we checked out so we didn't have to carry them around while doing activities. They also let us check in earlier!
