The location is great. Right in the woods, cozy and very welcoming. The place is small, but it has everything you want for a little escapade away from the city. I enjoyed the fact that I felt like in a minions village with all the little houses, the small yards and everything. The quiet of the nature, the sky full of stars in the night, the way those cottages were designed and the interiors (hope I didn't freak out anyone with the starying, but they were from fairytales) gave us a homey and welcoming feeling. Simply wonderful. ❤️Very detailed instructions for parking and everything else.

Walkable town, supermarket, and ample restaurants.
The kitchen was great, we cooked a lovely soup (we recommend the fresh meal ingredient boxes from the produce section at Albert Heijn!)
The host gave us recommendations for restaurants and local activities.
The travel toiletry sets in the bathroom were such a nice touch.
We got lucky by arriving on the last day of the Steenwijk cultural festival, just a short walk away, another great recommendation from our host, Erik.

quiet location with convenient connections to cities around (20km to Giethoorn village). The sauna is absolutely highlight of the studio. Recommend for a short, relaxing vacation.
The apartment is spacious, self contained. The host was so friendly and provided scrumptious and plenty of breakfast, which was more than enough for our family. The town is quiet and peaceful, to our liking.The apartment is above a cafe which sells choices of fried foods (fries, sausages, etc). It can easily fix your dinner.
If you like waking up with the sound of birds, opening the door and being in the woods for a morning walk with the dog and then enjoying a delicious breakfast, then you should come here.
