This was very nice apartment! Good location, very clean, very comfortable, nice bed, nice garden, tasty apples 😂 from the tree from garden), nice coffee, nice table games.
For the travellers who appreciate a space of their own at the end of the day, an apartment or flat is the perfect home away from home. Furnished rooms and kitchen facilities give groups and families the flexibility to enjoy downtime separately, or plan the next day’s activities over a shared meal. Often available for short and long-term.
The location is interesting in that it adjoins a small airfield where there are pleasure flights and parachutists to watch while you quaff a beverage from either the restaurant terrace or the balcony - noise is not a problem. De Cocksdorp town is a short distance away, with the 'capital' Den Burg only a little further, and access to the beach at Paal 28 is close too. The room was actually a very spacious apartment, very well appointed and I thought the jacuzzi bath and the Bose sound system were a nice touch.
The room was clean and well equipped. The host were very warm and explained everything very nicely. The location is very nice and bike rental shop is nearby. Breakfast was also decent.
5 star location - beautiful view of the lighthouse, sea and surrounding dunes.

Everything! A beautiful, privately located little wagon with a small kitchenette and comfy outdoor chairs/table and wood burner.
The private bathroom/toilet block is for your use only and is located just a few metres away across the grass.
Perfectly located towards the north end of the island, not far from bike rental, food shop, sand dunes and lighthouse. A great base for exploring Texel.
The host family were very friendly and helpful. We only wished we could have stayed longer than 2 nights.
It was a superb two night stay at the accommodation with lovely breakfast prepared by Marga and Melle. We were able to get the rest we needed from this short stay. The ambience of this location was calm and we loved it. We did travel by car and every spot we wanted to visit was easily reachable.
All in all, we would book this accommodation again if we visit the next time. :)
