What a great decision we made to stay at Channers. The amenities were amazing, including getting the use of a car during our stay. Everything inside and outside was so very clean. We loved the extras, just too many to list, but will try to list a couple of standouts: the electric BBQ, the stunning outdoor area, the mobile phone connected to the islands phone service, and everything you could want in a home away from home. Steve and Kerri Ann were so welcoming, even providing us with some delicious coconut cake. The location was also fabulous, just a short walk from town, so we could eat out and walk home. Would definitely stay again when we return to beautiful Norfolk Island.

Indeed, absolutely fantastic views over the ocean, Philip Island, and the ghost town of Kingston. Quiet, only the waves roaring below. The comfort level is of a good Australian holiday park, everything is not new but clean and well-maintained. Plenty of walking around: Kingston itself, pier and the beaches, the stunning Flagstaff hill, etc. – just account for the fact that hills are indeed hilly :). Yes, it's a bit far from all the cafes, so you either need a car to drive to Burnt Pine, bring some supplies (the kitchen was fully functional, which was nice) or just walk up the hill for a while (which we enjoyed but might not be for everyone).

We loved our stay at Mokutu. We were greeted at the airport by our host (even though our aircraft was 2 hours late). We picked up our hire car with the assistance of our host (car booked through them) and she immediately took us to the local supermarket so we could pick up supplies for dinner (supermarket was about to close and she didn't want us to go without dinner). She then led us out of town to our Chalet. We were taken through where everything was in the Chalet and also a briefing on local attractions etc. Fundamentals like tea bags, sugar and milk were supplied to get us started. The Chalet was private and a quite location overlooking green paddocks. It was about a 5 minute drive from the main part of town which suited us. The pool was being refurbished while we were there and opened the day after we left but it did not impact on our stay. We loved staying there and would stay again in the future. 10 out of 10 from us to the hosts.

The location was amazing, Rae met us on arrival, even though we got lost, and showed us to our apartment. It was lovely, the view out to Phillip and Nepean Islands was clear on a nice day. Kingston and Arthurs Vale were just around the corner, the history is fascinating and more personal than Tassie, which I also loved.
This was our 3rd trip to Norfolk Island but first staying at Coast & it did not disappoint. We stayed in The Studio which was perfect for us. The kitchenette was adequate for what we needed & the BBQ area was also fabulous. The availability of eskies & picnic baskets was a bonus as well. The staff were absolutely lovely & were always helpful if you needed help. The view from Coast is amazing & the location is quite close to town & Kingston.
Jackie was there to greet us and explain everything. Plus recommendations for shopping/meals. The free Island orientation tour the next morning an unexpected bonus.
Nice quiet location by the airport. Two great restaurants within easy walking distance. Everything you needed was in the cottage. The included rental car meant we could drive around the island as we wanted.
Comfortable walking distance to main town & readily connected to tour pickups. Best views towards northwest of island and to south across the sea to Phillip Island. The apartments were comfortable & spacious. Very quiet and semi rural property.
In my opinion, the Islander Lodge Apartments have one of the best views on Norfolk Island as they overlook the historic area of Kingston and have great views over the sea and out to Nepean and Phillip Islands. In addition, they are spacious and comfortable and perfectly equipped for a self catering holiday. The beds are large and comfortable and there is a barbecue and outside seating area. Absolutely idyllic and perfect in every way!
Very comfortable, studio apartment. Had everything you would need including picnic items, esky, phone for local calls and a torch. The king size bed was comfortable with lovely linen. Like a lot of norfolk island the decor was a little dated and the tv small. The gardens were lovely and it was lovelly to sit out on the deck with a lovely view.
We were meet on arrival at the airport and shown where rental car was. The apartment was very clean, all appliances were new with all necessary accessories for a comfortable stay.
