Spacious and comfortable apartment in a garden setting with great views and lots of birds. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Nice braai. Short drive into town. Stunning scenery. Hike to Phillips Cave was outstanding. Spitzkoppe was great too.
Hidden in a sidse-river of the Kahn-river, totally different again compared to the wide river-bed of the kahn river.
Sunset, of course in full orange, was just between the two hills towards the wide flat horizon in the west.
And ist was still relatively warm. It was ilent, as it is in deep Africa.
Everything worked, I enjoy the part build in stone, tike the small bathroom at the back of the tent a a small kitchen, even with fridge, buld of stone = stable.
Nevers receveid the code for the gate. The name on the sign next to the gate does not match the name given in booking.com

We stayed in the 2 bedroom cottage, which was super neat, clean and well equipped. The stay was on our way to Spitzkoppe which is about a 50 min drive from ohkambishi. The cottage is part of a small farm which was really interesting for us to see, including the 1 day old sheep :)
The cottage is self catering, our host recommended to pick up food in the superspar at Omaruru as Usakos does not have that much. We had a lovely braai in the evening. Thank you Brigitte!
