The hosts were were extremely kind and very welcoming and they even picked us up in town with their own car in the late evening when we did not manage to find the accommodation due to our very bad offline navigation system which we had in our car.... Very cozy, very neat neat and very nice self catering room , great shower and huge showerhead! A large Smart TV with a lot apps !!! Biscuits and coffee and tea were provided in the room free of charge. The self catering equipment was very neat and sufficent.
This is an ideal play to stay overnight when you drive up to the south. It is comfortable and has everything you need if you want to self-cater. It is spotlessly clean, well set out and there was secure parking for our rental car. We were warmly welcomed by a friendly lady. It was easy because the next morning we left very early to visit the Quiver Tree forest which is only a half hour drive away.
It is well decorated and presented in a clean efficient way. Its functional and is between a comfy hotel room and rather severe self catering. The staff were pleasant and helpful.
There is a large restaurant area that needs promoting better. We had to ‘squeeze out’ the fact you could enjoy tasty good quality food on site. Yes it could be a bigger menu but the simple addition of pizzas or pies would satisfy most weary travellers.

There is a supermarket nearby and the Quiver Tree forest is approximately 20 minutes’ drive away.
The apartment was quite spacious with everything needed. The location is convincingly located just off the B4 and B1 road, which was important for us.
It had air conditioner and that was very useful. Another important thing for us was WiFi, and it worked perfectly. The bed was big and comfortable. There also was a big table with a mirror in the room. The kitchen was equipped with everything that you might need for cooking. And the manager was also very friendly. I would definitely stay there again.
We wanted to stay overnight in place not very far from the Fish River Canyon. The guesthouse was very good choice. We had two rooms apartment with nice kitchen and dining table which we did not use but for self catering this can be very beneficial. All was very practical, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast very good.
