- First of all, this unit is a privately owned unit and have nothing to do with the hotel itself. The reviews on the hotel as a whole do not do John justice, as his room was extremely nice as compared to the rest. (based on pictures)
- The unit is renovated and is furnished with modern furnitures.
- John also turned on the a/c while waiting for us to check in to his unit, so we were greeted by both the warmth of his presence and the comfort of the cool air which was a great comfort after our long hours of traveling.
- We got the unit at a higher floor, so the sea view from both the balconies of the bedroom and the living area was amazing!

The apartment was clean, big and instructions on how to get the keys were easy to understand. Location wise, it is convenient because it is not that far from town where the food and attractions are, and not that far from the beach side too. It is somewhat in the middle of those two places I often visit when I'm in Penang.

Unfortunately, just like many other places..pictures are not reality.
First, its complicated because when i booked my room i didn’t know i was booking a room that is managed privately without knowing and it is not convenient because you have to do your own check in and text them through whatsapp and then you text one person and then they ask you to text someone else, not very convenient.
First night the balcony door almost ended up in my hands trying to close it, then i had problems with the toilet that just kept running water all night making it hard to sleep.
All facilities are old and the swing that shows up in the balcony, i haven’t seen it in any room so i don’t know if it actually exists.
Restaurant only serves breakfast and there aren’t many options around except a cafe that has good food and an Indian restaurant.

Check in was explained very well. Host and personnel were very helpful and friendly. The view was amazing and the place was very clean. Travelling as a family I greatly appreciated having a washing machine and sufficient place to dry. The location was good. Sufficient shops around the area and taking grab was not an issue.

It's a spacious apartment in a building shared with a hotel. There's a good bed, a nice bath room and a
balcony where you can tan. You can use the pool of the hotel and even their somewhat private beach part with was good. They have a bar and a restaurant which I didn't visit. There's a very good Indian restaurant opposite the building and some other restaurants too.
Location. Easy access to lifts from carpark and to the beach. Stress free stay.
Space. Nice wide apartment layout.

Balconies. There are 2. Lovely view of the sea.
Since I didn't stay for the facilities, it was the perfect getaway for me. There's a kitchenette, Netflix, big beds, good water pressure, decent wifi & cool AC. Living room and bedroom separate AC.
