The cabin is beautiful and spacious with a shared loft space with 3 beds upstairs. The bathroom is huge and luxurious, the kitchen has everything you need. The home is beautifully decorated with little homey touches like books and games for kids.
Lovely owners who were very welcoming and helpful, letting us take a shower when we returned after an early morning trip to Calakmul. Room was basic but spotless with great air con and comfy beds, a fridge and a coffee machine in a screened terrace.
The breakfast was not included with our room. But it was very reasonably priced. Good selection, made to order, and tasty. The rooms are very large and beds are comfortable. These rooms and grounds are spotlessly clean. The staff is very nice and accommodating.
You are right off the main highway so at night there is no traffic noise, but like in all rural towns there is going to be some roosters letting you know what is going on:)
It's very modern and high standard. You will feel like you are in a very nice apartment without kitchen. Since the location is set back from the street, it is very quiet. Nearby, there is a coffee shop that serves very good coffee and the seafood restaurant that is packed with the locals on weekends.
Friendly staff, cozy and quiet place, nice apartments in the middle of nowhere.
Restaurant and breakfast was delicious.
Amazon Alexa was in every room as well as a good equipment refrigerator.
For the two nights we spent here, we very much enjoyed our stay. Like the other visitors said, this is the perfect place for overnight stay if you plan to visit Calakmul. The staff members were extremely helpful. Particularly, we had a flat tire and they took the tire to a shop and repair it for us early in the morning, which saved us a lot of trouble (we speak no Spanish) and allowed us to visit Calakmul on the same day. We truly appreciate the help!
