Perfect location, right on the seaside promenade. Sunrise from the bed in the morning ( see my actual photo ), plenty of good eat-out places right on the street at night. Also, easy to park, which is a challenge in Malta.. The apartment is fresh, nicely done, and just the right size for two. The host is very nice too. Highly recommended!

We loved the location of the spacious yet cozy apartment which is very tastefully furnished and includes all the appliances (microwave, toaster, washing machine) required for a short stay. In addition, our host Pierre offered us use of the delightful roof terrace but the mixed January weather conspired against us most evenings. It must be idyllic out there in warmer months. The best sites of the Three Cities are all within easy walking distance, as is the ferry that takes you directly to the capital Valetta in under 15mins. Alternatively, there is a bus stop within 100 metres of the apartment and the services are very frequent and reliable.
Casa Cara is set on the seafront in Birgu, 3.8 km from Hal Saflieni Hypogeum and 8 km from Valletta Waterfront. The property has sea and city views, and is 1.2 km from Rinella Bay Beach.

We absolutely loved the warm, homely feel of the property. Unlike many places that can feel bare and impersonal, this one was thoughtfully decorated with charming details that made it feel welcoming and full of life. The cozy atmosphere instantly put us at ease, making it feel like a true home away from home. Even though we are from Malta, staying here gave us a wonderful holiday feeling. The property’s location in the heart of Birgu made it even more special. Being surrounded by the rich history, picturesque streets, and vibrant atmosphere of this stunning town allowed us to see our own country from a fresh perspective. The room was lovely and was in an excellent location, the view from the roof terrace was amazing. There were complementary tea and coffee and water. The host was excellent checking in with us about airport transfer, check in and offered us a complimentary coffee at the cafe next door.
