For the last night stay in Sri Lanka we have decided to stay somewhere beside the sea, so we booked in Larn's Villa Hotel & Apartment. We been greeted by lovely owners.
The rooms were very clean and spacious. They also have a swimming pool, which was great on a hot day 😄
We have chosen to have dinner in the property and ordered fish dishes which was very tasty and done by owners wife. 😘
In the morning we had a lovely breakfast too.
We wish to thank the owners for their fantastic hospitality. After long conversation it was a time to leave and we all fell that we are leaving behind our family.

I had an amazing experience at Asanka & family’s homestay!, they made me feel like an old friend visiting from out of town. I so much appreciated allowing me to arrive earlier & rest from my flights, I was exhausted and seeing the comfortable bed and quiet room was idyllic.
The location was important (10 min walk from Transport department for IDP) and ability to seek local knowledge is always appreciated. All the family spoke excellent English and I enjoyed trading words with the kids, it was also a short distance to the Highway Bus. I shared a little space in the fridge which allowed me the luxury of a few foods that I often crave when travelling, it was lovely to share a meal also with the family and observe in the preparation.
For the travellers who appreciate a space of their own at the end of the day, an apartment or flat is the perfect home away from home.
