Very comfy bed and TV with English channels which was a novelty. Rooftop with nice sunset in the evening, it could definitely be utilised more though.

Spacious and beautiful apartments! The design is stylish, and the space feels comfortable and welcoming. The apartment is fully equipped for an extended stay, with a great kitchen, a powerful hot shower, a large bed with comfortable pillows, and air conditioning. The beach is a 15-minute walk away along a quiet road through the village—a lovely walk we enjoyed every day.
Thushan, the host, is very polite, attentive, and always available if needed. When we return to Sri Lanka, we will definitely book this apartment again, and for a longer stay!

The location is in a very quite place(except when the train is coming but he doesn‘t drive in the night and only once or twice an hour). Also every room has it‘s own lock, bathroom and bed with mosquito net. A few times we saw apes swinging around in the trees. The Unawatuna main beach is around 5min Tuk Tuk drive (600-800 Lkr).
Very friendly owners who also showed us a doctor when one of us had a foot injury.

Beautiful place with a lot of practical furniture and other stuff like a water cooker. Feels like a little flat packed into a room but in a sweet way. Rooftop is very chill with some quiet classical music playing in the background all the time and some hammocks and stuff. The beach is not accessible from the hotel but still close with a 5min walk. But the sea is visible from the rooftop! :)

The apartment was very clean and comfortable. A/C was working perfectly. The bathroom was clean as well and the hot water was working very well. It was nice to have a fridge and little kitchen area. Both, the owner and house keeper were very friendly and helpful. They made sure if everything‘s fine on a regular basis. The owner also arranged a scooter rental for us. The location was very quiet and at night there weren’t any noises so that we could sleep very well. Thanks for a great stay! We would definitely come back :)
It was self-catering studio apartment complete with all cooking equipment. There is a short cut walk to the Unawatuna Beach and also was not that far to the Jungle beach on the other side. I love the fact that this place was surrounded by trees which was full of wildlife. Thoroughly Enjoyed the views from the balcony where I spend the most of my spare time. Overall simply amazing!
The owner is so friendly, he gave us cold towels and fresh juice on arrival which was very appreciated. The swimming pool is great. We even got a room upgrade which was lovely. Toiletries provided and a lovely balcony over the pool. The boys that worked there couldn’t be more helpful, they even helped us change a flat tire on the tuk tuk. Even though just off main road felt secluded we even saw monkeys! Breakfast was amazing in particular the home made Papaya juice was to die for!

We have just stayed at Rock Side for 2 nights and we wish we were able to stay longer. The room is more like an apartment as you have a beautiful terrace area outside, with views into the jungle as well as a kitchen with a fridge and cooking facilities. The room is spacious with TV, AC, good wifi and a really nice bathroom with powerful shower. Tasty breakfast and motorbike rental also available at an affordable cost. We can’t thank the lovely family enough and would recommend to anyone!
This property is an amazing place to stay when in Unawattuna, it is a 5 minute Tuk Tuk to Unawattuna Beach and a 10 minute Tuk Tuk to Galle. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and the apartment room was great. The aircon in the bedroom worked perfectly and the pool was a lovely temperature and very clean. I would recommend this stay to everyone.
Great location away from traffic. Two amazing apartments to choose from, both with full self catering facilities. Modern appliances, a washing machine and a huge garden with plenty of parking space. I also felt very safe because of the tall lockable gates, and CCTV camaras. I recommend this place, honestly considering the price it is very underrated :)
