Super location - 20 minute stroll or 6-7 minutes tuk tuk drive from Galle Fort & main railway station. Also on the bus route into town. Short walk from the beautiful St. Mary's church on Prison Rd. The apartment is within the grounds of the host's property - very private/quiet and surrounded by lush gardens. There is only one apartment so there is no noise from other guests to disturb you.
Plenty of space in the apartment which is well equipped with a fridge/freezer, washing machine, etc.
Reliable AC in the bedroom which kept it cool - ceiling fans in the other rooms struggled a little with the heat but we were out most of the time. Great rooftop terrace with a seating area and a washing line (and nice views of the surroundings).
The host Dam is super friendly and helpful - nothing was too much for him. Dam gave us a lift into town on the evening we were there and even dropped us off at the station at 6.30am the following morning when we left.
The bed was covered with a mosquito net. Plenty of electric sockets for all your devices. Reliable wifi.
Reliable shower with hot water. The bed was on the small size but still comfy.
One of the only places during our long trip in Sri Lanka where we weren't disturbed by barking dogs!

This is a lovely hotel, with a friendly owner. Perfect cleanliness and value for money. The breakfasts are gigantic and delicious. A quiet area, you can walk or get to the beach by bike, but this should not be a problem for those who are going to rent a scooter.

Set in the jungle the views are beautiful, hotel is completely clean throughout. Pool area is large, even at a busy time if year there's plenty of space for everyone. The staff and hotel owner are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is average but convenient and only a few euro. I suffered an extreme allergic reaction to a mosquito bite, medical centre and pharmacy are 2/3 minutes away in a tuk tuk, along with everything else you need on the main road.

Darshi and Oshi were excellent hosts. From the minute I arrived it felt like home and Darshi made sure I had the best stay possible. We had a fantastic time at Sri Lanka Villa. Our apartment was spacious and had everything we needed. The area is quiet and safe. It is possible to walk to the beach in 5 minutes.
The owner Upul was also there for two days and gave us a very warm welcome. Also the caretaker Vijith is a super nice and helpful person. We'll happily visit again!

Home away from home! The accommodation is in an area with separate access from the one used by the hosting family. Private kitchen, private bathroom, private terrace with a nice big aquarium. Everything was clean as promised. Nilu was simply a perfect host, she was there when needed, but never obtrusive.
Guys, do YOURSELVES a favor and ask her to cook dinner for you! In the last evening we had a fantastic grilled fish that I will remember for a long time. (Muhudu Kukula is the common name of this fish in Sri Lanka, some say Pothubari and in the English version, it is called sea chicken)
