I recently stayed at this wonderful accommodation from September 13th to September 28th, and I can't recommend it highly enough! The hosts, Priyanga and Dimuthu, were incredibly kind and friendly, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived.
The room was not only clean but also a good size, providing ample space to relax. The bathroom was equally spacious and well-equipped with all the necessary facilities. I truly appreciated how well the kitchen was arranged; it was convenient and made cooking easy. The fridge and microwave were particularly useful for storing and preparing meals.
Additionally, I felt very secure during my entire stay, which added to my comfort. Overall, I genuinely felt as though I was living in my own home rather than just a rented room.
I would undoubtedly choose to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay! Thank you, Priyanga and Dimuthu, for an amazing experience!

I had a wonderful stay at Alakamandava spending 4 nights here at the beginning and end of a 2 week holiday.
The beautiful apartment and location is peaceful and perfect to relax and unwind after a long flight, yet a short tuk tuk ride away from Colombo City.
The hosts Dharshana and Bhagya ensure that you have everything you need, and the breakfast and meal choices were superb, really enjoyed the Sri Lankan options (although I had to Google some things, and there's also Pasta and Pizza etc..
As a solo traveller I felt completely safe here, it's very homely and so many pretty terraces to sit and look over the neighbourhood.
I enjoyed watching the tree Squirells, and many different birds..
I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Sri Lanka.

Grocery store&bakeries are nearby, supermarket is in 1,5-2km.
Nice hosts and a very cute apartment. Perfectly clean and lovely made. All kitchen equipment was new. All in all a great and calm place, we liked it very much.
