I stayed in the non-aircon which is downstairs. The balcony in the photos is the air-con room. You will stay next door to the family. It’s a village location approx 1km from the Midigana junction near the beach. Within this price bracket is exceptionally good value. The family are kind, generous & helpful. There are buses from the junction that make Weligama, Ahangama, Mirissa easily accessible. So you understand you will stay near to the rice paddy but no direct view downstairs. Kitchen facilities are a big bonus.

Firstly, absolutely everything!
About the space: large, comfortable apartment with outdoor and indoor seating areas, little kitchen and washing machine and ironing functions. A bigger and nicer space than hotels ten times the price. Air conditioning in both rooms worked great as well as fans everywhere.
About the host: he will do anything for you and clearly is passionate about hosting people. We felt more like visiting family members than paying guests.he even made us breakfast and dinner just as a treat (and they were delicious). Super polite and helpful. I wish more people were like this.

Lovely staff and lovely accomodation that is well located if you want to surf in the Midigama, Ahnaghama area. Rooms are lovely and big, exceptionally clean and the staff were so helpful making us feel at home and helping us with scooter rentals.
We spent two weeks here, and it was one of the best accommodation during a month long sri lanka trip. It is an ideal location if you want to be away from the noise but close to the surf locations such as Weligama or Ahangama.
Reasonable price, rooms are clean, breakfast is good, there was always someone around if anything was needed (laundry , scooter rental or airport pickup)
The host was responsive, the family running the place were super kind and helpful.

This place is in a great location. 5 minutes walk to Midigama beach and 4 minutes from the train station. The apartment is very clean and you will find everything you need for a long holiday. The hosts are very nice and very helpful. I highly recommend this place, one of the best, i've stayed in Sri Lanka if not the best for this price.
Very relaxed and quiet place with amazing hosts and guests. Dev and Vish are so nice and treat like their own family. The food they offer is very good and they also offer scooter rentals.
Everything was perfect, it was 100% remote work friendly. I know many struggle with internet in Midigama, but this apartment helped me have zoom calls, it was super stable. I loved the outside shower, perfect to wash after jumping in the ocean and to clean your surfboard. Highly recommend for all facilities, location and also host is super helpful!

This place is a hidden gem! We had a wonderful time in Midigama. The location is just perfect: close to the beach and surf spot (just a walk of 5 min) and the main road but very quite and peaceful by the same time. Very supportive & caring host, beautiful property, super clean and modern apartment + fully equipped kitchen, well-working AC, reliable wifi-connection and comfortable bed: You'll find everything you'll need, even for a long-term stay.
