The host, Rumaiz, was welcoming and helpful. We reached the property around 10:30 PM. The apartment was big, spacious, and clean. The living room and one of the bedrooms had balconies facing a hill. It was a full homely feeling with the availability of kitchen with all necessary utensils. There is no passenger lift, but they have a setup to lift your luggage to the higher floors. The roads to the property are narrow, and the good thing is that the property has parking available.

The stay was super spacious. It had everything and more - utensils, washer dryer, microwave. The owners were super chill. We had wifi, hot water. There was a convenience store within walking distance. The bathrooms were really clean and we got towels. This place was one of the best we stayed in Sri Lanka

All brand new, clean with big rooms! Cool location in the jungle village, but right on the edge of Kandy city for exploring with Tuk Tuk. Nikina is very friendly and arranged dinner for me after a long day sightseeing.

Overall, I had a positive stay. The hotel’s location was fantastic, such a silent area, making it very convenient to explore the downtown area. I really appreciated the proximity to local attractions, restaurants, and public transport. The house was clean, well-maintained, and had all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay.

The rooms were excellent- the largest and cleanest we experienced in Sri Lanka. The rooftop cafe was nice, and the biggest plus was how quiet it was. After seeing hotels downtown near the lake, we were glad to have stayed farther out, and a tuktuk ride with pickMe only cost one or two dollars.

The host is nice and gave us 3 bottles of water when we arrived. The shower is hot and nice. The window better not to kept open so the air circulation in the room is limited.

I recently stayed at Irene's Home for one night and overall had a decent experience. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. We were offered many breakfast options. The food was also very good. The central location and reasonable pricing make it a good option for short stays in the area.
It was a superb stay! In my opinion the newly built studio apparent-like room is something rare to come by, especially in this area. The view and the food was also great.
I highly recommend staying at this charming remote house in Sri Lanka. Nestled away from the hustle and bustle of the city, it offers a tranquil escape surrounded by stunning gardens. The host goes above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay, even saving the day by organizing scooter rentals for us. And let's not forget about the delicious food served, adding an extra layer of enjoyment to our experience. It's the perfect retreat for anyone seeking relaxation and adventure in equal measure.

The apartment is very big, clean, with beautiful views and a nice decoration. The best have been the hosts, they have treated us as if we were at home. She prepared us a spectacular breakfast, very rich and cooked with love. The best of our entire route. We would like to come back.
