Great and very nice host that came to pick us up from train station and gave us complimentary laundry service. He helped with all requests we had. Felt safe and comfortable.

Very friendly host. I did an unplanned last minute booking in this property and arrived in the evening. I got a whole apartment with external bathroom and balcony in a very quiet area. I only stayed 1 night, so I did not cook (the kitchen is very simple). The bus connection is very good, although you have to walk up the hill (aprox. 100m). The apartment is simple but with a lot of space and very quiet. Definitely a good alternative to Kandy city, which is very busy and polluted.
