Dam is a legend who goes above and beyond for you. He instantly treated me as a friend and a guest in his house, rather than a paying customer. He was so warm and friendly and we had some great conversations about life in Sri Lanka. The room is extremely comfortable and his property is walking distance to the fort!

I had a fantastic one-night stay at Residence chanty! The room was incredibly clean, with fresh linens and pillow covers that made it feel very comfortable. The bathroom was spotless and well-maintained, which I really appreciated. The room also had a small fridge, a cupboard, and a dressing table—great for added convenience. The owner is very kind, friendly, and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed. The room was spacious, and having access to a kitchen to cook our own meals was a great bonus. Overall, it was excellent value for money, and I highly recommend it!
