Our stay at Movi was exceptional. The apartment is lovely, spacious and spotlessly clean with everything you need for a more than comfortable stay. Movi apartment is a fantastic way to spend time with a family balanced with your own privacy. It really feels special. Nilanthi is an amazing host. She is endearing, happy and always makes you smile. Her cooking is amazing. Our breakfasts and also dinner (if requested) were so delicious and plentiful. She has an amazing skill and presents everything so well. Nilanthi, Duminda and their family can give advise, help with bookings and support if requested. I will miss our new friends and that lovely smile with a warm heart. Perfect place for a long term stay. You can do the laundry, cook your own meals and the beach is only a 5 min walk. Many people will offer you River safari, but make sure you let the property manager book you with his friend - he was a great guide and could even spot hidden animals, that other boats just passed by.

Sahani Villa was fantastic. So clean and set away in a nice quite area. The owners and their family were really nice. Owner drove us around in his tuk tuk free of charge. Breakfast were amazing. So much food. Would highly recommend staying at this beautiful Villa.

Lovely family run place, 20 mins from beach, very quiet area, 3 beds in room I was solo but great for family or friends. Shower and toilet and small kitchen next to room, which I had sole use.
Dinner breakfast and lunch available cost about 400-500 Sri Lankan rupees. Big portions always come with fruits, eg, papaya, bananas, etc

We rented the apartment in the ground floor. We had everything we needed, a big plus was the washing machine and the big fridge. We didn't bother to cook since best breakfast was provided and the Chefs in the restaurant on the rooftop give all to make your taste buds happy. The location is good. The beach is reachable within a few minutes walk. The owner is also helping to arrange tours.

Super cozy and spacious apartment on the upper floor of a house. Very good value for the price. It’s a 15 minute walk to the very beautiful beach in Bentota. It’s also just a few minutes away from the river safari.
Owners were very kind and helpful. We even forgot one of our bags and they helped us arrange to have it sent to Unawatuna.

Feels brand new, very spacious. Probably the cleanest apartment in Sri Lanka - mean it! Equipped with all furniture, fridge / freezer combination etc. you need - not more and not less :) subjectively, some decorative elements would make the room more cozy. Bathroom with hot water boiler and decent water pressure. Rare and welcome exception in Sri Lanka.
Owner (Nilan) and his caretaker were both very friendly and helpful. A noisy fan in one bedroom was fixed within a day.

We loved absolutely everything. Hospitality of the owners is incomparable. Many thanks from us for their kindness to us and our little daughter. And their dinners beat those in the restaurants we managed to visit during our short stay :-)
