We arrived at night and the hosts were very welcoming and helpful. They had arranged a new years dinner which was fantastic. The rooms were spacious, clean and beautiful traditional rooms. It was magical to see Fuji right outside in the morning! Spectacular view and location. Even though it was cold in the hotel the rooms were warm and cozy. The place is simple and comfortable for our short stay

For the travellers who appreciate a space of their own at the end of the day, an apartment or flat is the perfect home away from home. Amazing location, helpful and kind staff, well equipped kitchen, everything was very clean, bicycle rental, kotatsu table, a rack with stationery, toiletries and other trinkets for purchase, loved the frog decor
Simply relaxing to just chill and sit outside the bench, chairs, sipping coffee nice and slow. You'll be able to see Mt Fuji from the entrance if the weather is good. Quite a cozy home stay with everything you need really. The lake is the closest to Mt Fuji and about 12km to 13km loop ; mostly flat to run / cycle around. Go for it to see the magnificent fujisan from the other end. You won't regret it. The bus stop from tokyo / from kawaguchico is within 10 mins walk.
A cosy place to stay. Felt like home to me. I travelled from Yokohama and the highway bus stopped right next to this guesthouse. Highway bus to Tokyo also stops at the same bus stop and that is very convenient. Their bike rental rate is one of the cheapest too! Thank you so much Marino and Kei for the hospitality💕 I would definitely be back in the future to hike up the trails around Yamanakako 🗻
The host is very friendly and helpful. She arranged the room with a Mt. Fuji view for us and gave us all the tips about the area.
Rental bicycles are available and the quality of their bicycles is excellent. Cycling around the lake is the best way to explore the area.
So cosy and comfortable, lovely host. There are two baths which you can book for an hour in the evenings for your room - really nice to have an onsen to ourselves! There are rental bikes for hire.
Amazing location and loved the cabin. Everything felt clean, modern and comfortable (especially the bed, we didn't sleep on the loft on the tatami though). Our cabin had a fantastic view of Mt Fuji which was amazing in the morning! Amenities etc were plenty and useful. Appreciated the stay!
Very easy to find; able to store our luggages before checking in (4pm). Very impressed with the amount of love being put into the property, more so the enormous trust with letting all visitors using their beloved home. You can find notes around the property as reminders :)
The guesthouse was very clean and provided with plenty of facilities (bike rental, bus ticket booking, tools for cooking). Lake Yamanaka and a bus stop served by the main lines of the zone are at walking distance from the guesthouse, making the location very convenient. The staff are extremely welcoming and available for any kind of suggestion. Their knowledge of English makes it easy to communicate.
