The house is two-storey, walking distance to the Karuizawa train station and outlet mall. Also well connected to food places and convenience stores even if you don’t drive. The place is near the main station and easy to go to. We arrived in Kato's place and it was very neat and orderly. The design of the house is very comfortable and accommodated our family well. All kitchen equipment were in excellent condition and we were able to use them well to prepare a lot of our meals for New Year's celebration. Kato was a very nice host too and provided complete instructions for everything. This place is highly recommendable.

The apartment was about 10-15 minutes drive from the train station, ski resort and shopping areas so I would recommend that you drive. Check-in was easy using a door code. The apartment was well maintained, clean and tidy. The hosts were very responsive. The kitchen was well-equipped and we were cooking our meals most of the time. The rooms were comfortable. We drove to the ski resort everyday which worked well for us.
