The flat was all on one floor and our family of 5 fitted in nicely. It’s 10 minutes walk from the station , so convenient to get to and there are plenty of restaurants in the area.
It rained all day, on one of the days we were there and it was great that there were complimentary, large umbrellas to use. There is a large table and cooking facilities, if you need them.

Good location for easy walking to attractions (Kanazawa Castle, Castle Gardens, Higashi Chaya District). Omicho Market is also easily walkable (fifteen to twenty minutes).
The property is in a small quiet street, and we did not hear much noise from adjoining apartments so a good night’s sleep was guaranteed.
The kitchen was compact but well stocked with utensils and appliances, ensuring self-catering was possible when we wanted “home” cooked meals.
The traditional tatami mat seating area combined with the sliding window screens (with roller blinds behind to block light in the morning), created a lovely visual welcoming environment.
Check-in was easy and we appreciated a member of staff being present to answer any questions.
Would we book again? Yes, if alternative seating/table options were also available.

This is very economical stay in Kanazawa. This is one of "no staff" hotels, literally one person at a time: checkin online, key code online, sending a photo of your passport etc... That is why it is so economical. But you will have queen bed, private bathroom, free laundry. You can even left the baggage but elusively secured and on your responsibility. Location is 15min walk from the station, 2 bus stops and it is close to most attractions in the city. Quite big room.

The check in is pretty easy at hotel Kanazawa which is located directly at the train station... For the checkout you just put a paper slip in a little box.

The room was like a small apartment, very modern and clean. On a quiet street, about 10 minute walk from the station (faster with a taxi). The bedroom was separated from the living area by a sliding door and there was also a separate small kitchen and shower toilet area with washing machine. We had little interaction with staff. The robes were appreciated. Would definitely go back.
The flat is really next to the castle and the beautiful kenroku-en garden, which are both very nice to visit

It’s an onsen hotel so we were provided with all amenities and a little bag. The TV was very well programmed, it would give information such as the traffic in the onsen etc
Tidy and very comfortable apartment with everything to feel as home; kitchen, laundry with washing/dry machine and toilet separated from shower/bath tab, good for a family. The beds and the futons were comfortable and the decoration beautiful with a nice, small balcony. Very warm environment with Japanese style! I would like to book the place again🙂
We could not have chosen a better place for our trip to Kanazawa. The apartment featured a modern yet traditional Japanese design, with the best cafe in all of Japan just downstairs. The photos don’t do it justice; it was truly one of the nicest places we stayed during our trip in Japan.
We had an amazing stay at House Hotel Kenrokuzaka! The apartment is even bigger than it looks on the pictures. The amenities are just perfect - huge living room area, tatami floor area, really comfy and modern bathtub. It's also situated right next to Kenroku-en, which is big plus. Not to mention that the father of the owner was super nice and gave us a great tour of the house and amenities, something we didn't get anywhere else in Japan.
