This was the best accommodation during our Japan-Trip. Everything is so beautifully designed, the hosts must be very keen on design. It‘s closed to the city center so you can easily stroll around the town. It was very clean. The Appartement has a welcoming, warmhearted atmosphere and is stylish at the same time. I wish the host my very best for the future! If we will return for a Japan-Trip Hakone and HAKO REIRO are on our bucket list. Thank you especially for the games, we appreciated them very much.

We were travelling as an extended family of 8 from age 20 to 81, even though it was short walking distance from station but it was a struggle with cargo bags and elderly parents. Luckily we were able to get information at the information office opposite the station about feasibility of getting taxis for such a short distance. The taxis right in front of the office are able to go by meter and only cost us around 600/700 yen per taxi.
Usually I worry about getting information to unlock door early as sometimes to my experience upon my arrival at some other places, still no information. No worries here.I got the information upon full payment. Messaging with host was always prompt.
Upon entry to unit, the aesthetics were better than the photos shown, harmony in modern design, inside and outside, everything compact but have almost everything that you need with thoughtfulness and care for almost everything chosen to be used. I appreciate that. You can directly open your glass doors to the outside in the living/dining area to enjoy fresh air and the small balcony in the big room is a plus too.
One of the bathroom is superb in size and design.

Great location, right next to Gora station. Lovely room, we stayed in a condominium which had geyser Spring water in the bath tub itself. The hotel had lovely facilities including free drinks and snacks and a good breakfast spread. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
We enjoyed the beautiful library and free drink stations. The condo rooms were spacious with comfortable couches. The location was convenient to many forms of transportation with a flat walk to the station and convenience store. We also enjoyed the breakfast and dinner buffets. There were many choices and all were clearly marked with allergens symbols.
This was a cool studio apartment in a great village location. It was comfortable, even with six of us and it had all the necessary amenities provided. It was a comfortable stay and I would definitely go back if we were here again.
I wish we'd had more time to spend here so we could take advantage of everything on offer. We stayed in Condominium A and it was really spacious. As expected it was in a different building from the hotel proper.
We had included breakfast and dinner and they were great. I recommend not getting to breakfast too late or things will have run out.
Baby-friendly: The hotel provided a portacot and they even had baby food jars as part of the buffet! They also had a selection of high chairs/ booster seats.
We loved staying at Hakone Yutowa. We stayed 2 nights in one of the condominium rooms, and it was spacious, clean and quiet. The facilities are great, especially the free drinks and ice blocks from the library. Buffet breakfast was delicious, and the dinner was exceptional. Great location an easy walk from Gora and easy walk to the open air museum.
The location is so close to Gora station. The indoor atmosphere is excellent. The room is very spacious with everything perfect. We stayed in condominium room so we had hotspring in our own room. We were so surprised to see unexpected fireworks when we were enjoying the hotspring. The lounge on 2/F facilities variety of drinks for us. The half board meals here were excellent too.
