Well appointed apartment, good amount of space for our family of 5. Very spacious kitchen and living area. Having a second toilet was very convenient. Very well located close to Gora Station so tourist sites were easy to access. New and clean.

The saMa-saMa Stay is out of our expection. The landlord waited for us to brief the details of the house. The house was spacious, very very clean and tidy. Everything great. We have a warm and happy stay there.

Very honored to be able to stay in a traditional Japanese home. Quiet and serenity surrounding. You can see the sunrise from the living room. Cleanliness was spotless, digital tv channels were good, kitchen was fully functional. Space was good for big family like ours of 6 pax. Bedroom were all spacious. Very generous with the refreshments. Onsen was traditional and natural.
We had a rental car, so amenities was easy and all within 10-20mins drive, including cable car station and Lake Ashi.
Our car window was not fully closed and we didn’t realized until there’s actually an estate manager that goes around in case you need something. That’s quite assuring for us.

This property is absolutely perfect! It has everything included - from cooking facilities and eating utensils, to games and speakers for music. It's clean, modern and really comfortable. I would definitely stay here again! Parking is included too, so we hired a car which was perfect. It's one of the best places I've stayed in Japan.

The location is very good - steps away from Gora Station, from where you can go to most sightseeing points in Hakone. Walking distance from the Open Air Museum.

Such a cute apartment, beautifully decorated. My kids loved the platform beds and roof terrace. Fabulous location. We wished we could have stayed longer. Next door to the Ghibli house accommodation, and it was like being in Totoro!
What a lovely and efficient little apartment! It was really clean, and had everything we needed. Not a bad walk from the station (10 minutes), although Gora is hilly and you will get good cardio exercise! We really appreciated having the laundry facilities (as well as detergent)!
Classic Japanese house - spotlessly clean and comfortable. Referring to some previous reviews, the location was perfect. Yes, it was a slight walk up hill from the station, but you don't expect everything to be flat when going to the mountains, right? This was a great property, a short walk from the station.
