From the outside, you would not have expected the modern interior of the self contained appartment. The private onsen with 24/7 running spring water opens to the beautiful valley. Full kitchen and washing machine made the place like a home away from home. Beds were comfortable with separate A/C to rhat in the lounge area. We had a most relaxing time.

Cozy apartment with kitchen including microwave & rice cooker and balcony where you can watch fireworks. We were surprised that there's also game zone provided lots of mini games. We seemed like having little party during our stay. Free parking is included too. The staffs are also very nice and responsive. We would definitely rebook nest Olive Atami in the future.
The view from our room on the 3rd floor was good and the hosts were nice. They let us choose between a bigger room with no view versus a relatively smaller room with sea view. Room was spacious compared to many other places in Japan and had a traditional style sleeping on the mattress. Parking was available for our rental car. The host let us use the shared kitchen even though we arrived late in the evening and realised that the kitchen was private but a shared one.
It is a nice truly Japanese-style experience. The rooms feel like a Japanese apartment, though are a bit dated (true 70s-80s feeling, which makes the whole stay unique!

This place is a hidden gem, the apartment was super comfy and very modern yet traditional, the view is absolutely outstanding of the castle and the staff were very accommodating.
5 minutes walk from Atami Station. There are many restaurants nearby. Toyota car rental is just opposite the hotel. The breakfast is delicious. Coin laundry on the ground floor is useful. Room is clean and bed is comfortable.
Front Desk staff was utterly accommodating during our short stay on Nov 28/29. They made a strong impression on us!
We were also impressed by how quiet this stay was. A stone's throw from the train/bus station, but you sure didn't hear that from inside. Quiet and cozy, and in a new building. We liked this stay very much.
