So nicely decorated with some lovely touches. You can tell Sax and Rosa put a lot of thought into it for example : As a fellow musician I loved the musical decorations.
The mezzanine floor was a great addition
to have too. The bed was very comfortable.
We spent a lot of time on the balcony enjoying the view.
We were made to feel very welcome and were gifted their own homegrown fruit and veg!

Excellent location very close to the central square of Dolceacqua. The host was very accessible and friendly on whatsapp and happy to help. Kitchen is well equipped with pans, pots, colanders, etc. Great shower. The property is modernized.

Cosy vaulted bedroom in an amazing early 17th century building, well decorated, good modern bathroom, very good bed, view over river and towards the arched bridge, simple kitchen with microwave and Nespresso machine and classic Italian espresso maker. The owner takes special care and loves this piece of history in her village. Good free parking lot about 100 m away across the river, arched bridge + steep narrow staircase to access (it's a 17th C building after all), but well worth the experience of visiting the warren of tiny covered passages leading up to the castle.

we loved everything! the little house had a lovely terrace, there was everything we needed in regards to cooking facilities, the bed was comfortable and the bed linen and towels were pristinely clean. The apartment is very nicely organized, with equipment even for a longer stay. It is in a medieval village with an amazing view (from two terraces that the apartment has). We have been travelling with 3 teenagers. Also they have been completely amazed. It is very clean, spacious and comfortable.
The stay could not have been better. The apartments, outdoor areas and the small spa are lovingly designed and the perfect view on top ensured that we could relax from the 1st second on. The owners are perfect hosts and we felt very welcome.
If you like being in the mountains, hiking or walking around in very old towns, you will like this. The weather was much cooler than at sea level this summer. Breakfasts were home-made and very well-balanced. The villa is set apart from other apartments so you have privacy, if that is what you wish. Actually, quite easy to get to by bus from Ventimiglia. A really lovel diversion for a few days.
The apartment was comfortable and contains all you need for a long rest. It was very clean and cozy.
We felt like we travelled in time because it is situated in the middle of a very old town.
