We loved the apartment and the beautiful view of the lake. They had a pool my husband swam in and wonderful yard chairs to sit, rest and enjoy the surroundings. Also, the private parking was a reall plus, and walking distance to a grocery store and restaurant.

Breakfast was delivered to our door every morning with lots of options. The view from the penthouse suite was magical. Monica took care of every need including dinner reservations and transport. Be sure to book the spa for private access for 2 hours. If you ever plan to visit Lake orta book this place!

Everything! The location, the view, the apartment itself, and the owners. Couldn’t have had a better experience. The apartment was extremely well maintained and equipped with all the essentials for a relaxing and comfortable stay. Well located on the eastern shore of Lake Orta with a five minute drive to the beautiful lakeshore town of Omegna. Orta San Giulio was only about a fifteen minute drive to the south. Furnishings in the apartment were very comfortable and there were ample seating options outside on the patio including a great chair swing. The dock had several lounge chairs and everything was comfortable. The grounds and gardens are meticulously maintained and beautiful. There is a bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub that looks out over the lake and the other bathroom has a wonderful shower. The king size bed in the bedroom we slept in was extremely comfortable and also looked out over the lake. I would say that the pictures don’t do justice to the place. You really have to be there to appreciate all the thought and hard work the owners have put into making d’Ocalee a truly exceptional experience!

The apartment is very spacious in an ancient building. It‘s right in the pedestrian area of the old town of San Giulio, which is densely built and this is the charme of it- very Mediterranean feeling. If you don’t want to hear any neighbors, this is not for you. But don’t worry, the nights are quiet. Parking (well arranged) is a few minutes walk. We enjoyed just going out of the door and have a few steps to the lake, restaurants, paddling and boats. The hosts were really nice, helpful and with good communication.
The location of the flat is in some respect splendid, close the central square and the lakeside with beautiful views of the island. However there are also several restaurants nearby and the square is a popular meeting point in the eveningsfor gathering, talking, laughing,... on warm evenings it can be very noisy well into the small hours.
Newly renovated, well equipped and clean apartment situated in the middle of the old town. It has a nice balcony with a garden view. Nicolò is a very friendly host, excellent with communication. He also arranged free parking in a parking garage and picked us up there. Highly recommended, would have liked to stay longer. Thanks, Nicolò!
The flat was right on the central piazza and directly beside the lake with good water views. It is an old building without a life but the apartment had everything we needed. Host Stefano picked us up at the station which is quite far, carried our bags upstairs and took us back to the station on departure

Brilliant location right by the lake and just seconds walk into town. Orta San Giullio is a beautiful town and the lake is amazing. Very modern apartment in a renovated old building with everything provided that you could possibly need. The garden area with direct access to the lake for swimming was superb. Host was very helpful and responded quickly when I had some questions before booking and kept in touch in the run up to and throughout our stay helpfully suggesting good places to eat etc when we were there. Would definitely return.
This is my happy place! We didn't hesitate to come back here a second time (and hopefully it won't be the last). The warm welcome by hostess Francesca, the amazing apartment, the unique private beach, the recommendations for the best restaurants around the lake, the boat rental coming to the dock, everything is perfect here and I highly recommend staying at this place if you have the possibility to do so.
The view is incredible and the hosts were very responsive and an accommodating. The flat we stayed in has a stunning lake side view and had everything a family could need. We hope to return to this sleek, modern apartment again.
