Walking distance to two very good restaurants in adorable Sant’Angelo. Friendly and helpful host who made dinner reservations for us. In-room laundry! Quiet, peaceful, and romantic. This was the perfect place to stay in Tuscany, a short drive to Montalcino. Plenty of onsite parking. Would absolutely stay here again!

Matteo, the person managing the house, is the most gracious host. Our flights to Rome were greatly delayed and we ended up arriving rather late to the house, but he was there to escort us, show us around, explain how to operate the various features, and even how to prepare coffee the Italian way. He met us the following morning and patiently, and generously, reviewed our plans for the week, and provide a lot of useful feedback and suggestions.
The house is in very good condition. It appears to be rather newly renovated. There are 5 rooms with a double bed in each room, a TV, an A/C unit, and a shower/bathroom attached to each of the rooms. The rooms, bathrooms etc. are all *very* clean and in perfect working conditions.
There is a small open kitchen with a fridge, a dishwasher, and an Electric Cooktop. And plenty of dishes, glasses, cutlery, etc. Next to the kitchen there is a nice size dining table. These were all good facilities for breakfast that we prepared every morning.
The place even has a washing machine in the "basement", which for a 7 night stay came in handy a number of times.
The pool is in the "Main Building" about 500m away. A nice size pool, and a good refresher when the days are hot.
We stayed for 7 nights and went out on day trips around the area, which included medieval towns, bikes rides through a natural park, natural hot springs, sea-front towns, and incredible cities such as Pitigliano, Pienza, Siena, San Gimignano and even Florence (if you're up to a slightly longer drive). The scenery is absolutely beautiful, and there are *a lot* of places to visit in the area, and *a lot* of very good restaurants. There is a Coop supermarket in Montalcino, which is a very nice town that is only about a 15 minutes’ drive away. Note that the supermarkets are open until 8pm, but are closed between 1pm and 4pm, and that there are some parking restrictions in the city that Matteo will detail.

Great brand new apartment, amazing view! Good spot to see Montalcino, Pienza and Montepulciano with free parking spot. Everything available in the kitchen, even though we didn’t use because we were there only for one night. Sara is amazing host very easy and fast communication. Erna and the team are superb! Friendly, approachable, accommodating. They quietly move around the property making everything just so for their guests. It’s such a perfect setting, and a well-designed complex of apartments. The pool area is perfect for families or couples. It all just works beautifully. We felt very well looked after. I cannot recommend it highly enough!
The apartment is beautiful, was very clean, and was very cozy. Super well located. It was well worth it. We had a private entrance and a fully equipped kitchen. There were breakfast items available. The bathroom was completely renovated and very nice. The beds were well-made and very comfortable. Of all the places I stayed in Italy, this was the best.

Probably the nicest accommodation we have stayed in so far, with friendly service, breakfast, and a pool with views of the vineyards and mountains. The apartment has everything you need. We even stayed two days longer than planned. Just a 5-minute drive from the accommodation is the beautiful stone town of Montalcino, with many restaurants and small local shops. We will definitely come back here one day.
Clean, spacious, pool. We had 2 double rooms & an apartment between 6 - if we hadn’t had the apartment we would not have had any cups, glasses or dishes!!!
Highlights were the excellent location within Montalcino and the fantastic view from the apartment`s terrace onto the Val d´Orcia valley. Otherwise the host was very friendly and helpful, the apartment cozy and the private garage definitely a plus.
Location was very conveneient and easily walkable to center of the town. The apartment was fully updated with all the modern amenities and the bathroom was largest among all our stays across Italy. There was a short term parking across the Fort where we could load/unload our suggage. It was a short but steep walk from there but that is expected in Tuscany villages.
