Great room or rather apartment. All newly renovated two years ago according to Per. Super clean everything, cozy place and beautiful. The bed very comfortable and the shower excellent in one word. Quick to heat and powerful. Light snacks in the fridge, water and yogurt. Coffee and cocoa. Good heat in the room which is good for this time of year. Air conditioning in addition. Everything is so beautifully finished and tidy. Great location in beautiful Venosa. Close to all major services and restaurants everywhere. Parking directly outside the room which is on the ground floor with a direct private entrance.
After a month in Italy in various places, this is my best experience so far!
Per is truly a super host who takes great care of his guests and makes sure that everything is as good as possible. Delicious breakfast at a nearby cafe.

The location is in the old part of the city. The apartment was a good value and served our needs for a short stay. It was clean and nicely decorated. The host was responsive to questions.
Beautiful, clean modern apartment with a very kind and helpful hostess. With a full kitchen, it’s perfect for a long stay. If you have mobility issues, be aware that there are several flights of stairs and no elevator. But that does not detract from how wonderful this apartment is. The view from the terrace is amazing, the supermarket is very close, within walking distance. The parking is right in front of the building. Highly recommend and we would stay here again!
Lovely apartment! Beautiful floors, well-equipped kitchen, amazingly large bathroom with good shower and washing machine, and great terrace. Jo, the kind host, even gave me a ride when I checked out so I wouldn’t need to call a taxi. Highly recommend staying here while in Melfi!
Lo Stemma is a large, very high quality apartment, fitted to a new, modern standard but part of a 200 year old property with tonnes of character and historic features. Giorgio is the perfect host, he contacted us a couple of days earlier, met us on arrival and explained the apartment and location in detail. We were provided with drinks in the fridge, ingredients to cook and snacks - all unexpected but very appreciated. Thank you for a fantastic stay - we'd thoroughly recommend the accommodation and location.
This is an apartment in a quiet location about 1Km outside the Melfi city center. The apartment has 4 rooms with private bathrooms and a small kitchen/living room. The staff is very kind and the rooms are comfortable. They also provide safe car parking.
It is certainly recommended if you don't need to stay close to the city center.
