Colfosco is good choice as a base for exploring the many hikes in the broader region. We did Val di Funes (Odle) and lago di Sorapis, amongst others. While the town is perhaps less lively than others, Blackhill restaurant was great for pizza and off the menu Carbonara. For a good supermarket we went to Corvara, just a short drive down the road.

Casa Agreiter was a wonderful place to stay in Alta Badia. We enjoyed our time here. The cabin was cozy and right by some accessible trails, the view was marvelous to wake up to. It was quiet and the bed perfect after a long day of exploring the autumn colors. I think for a two nights stay it was actually very affordable and cozy. The room had all the amenities needed and I particularly loved the bedroom and the dining room. Would love to stay here again! The hosts were responsive as to how to check in.

The apartment was very spacious and super clean. It had everything I needed and more, such as a dishwasher! The owner greeted us at the reception so check in was easy. The location is right in the heart of Dolomite in either direction to Ortisei or Cortina D'ampezzo. I liked the view from the balcony. The bed was comfortable. The price was very reasonable for the location and facility. I would go back without any hesitation.

Very nice, kind and helpful owner, the apartment size perfectly fit our needs (the house has also other bigger ones); nice and warm ski room to get ready in the morning. a short walk mostly downhill and flat to and from the ski slopes. the house has a sauna for its guests, looks very nice but we did not use it (in early April we prefer sit outside in the sun after skiing). Will definitely return next winter!
