We were upgraded to the Hamar guesthouse as they had workers at Volcano 73. The stay was very nice, we had access to the breakfast room and the kitchen in the hostel.

Apartment was modern and clean! Comforter in the bed was soft. Location was very close to the center of town, nothing was further than a 10 minute walk away. Staff was kind.
Host was very sweet with some welcome goodies. Apartment was fully stocked. This was the nicest place we stayed in our ten days in Iceland. Convenient to a lot. Even though the weather didn't cooperate, it was a great place to visit and see the puffins.
The host was amazing and very responsive when we had an issue with an appliance in our apartment. He was there immediately and very kind.
The location is perfect with easy walking distance to the Bonus and Kronab. Also a nearby Apothecary.
We hiked everywhere and saw many puffins at the puffin overlook on the east side of the island.

Nice apartment with private parking. It covered everything the family needed. The hosts were great and there also was a small garden for the kids to play in.
Nice option in town. Big apartment style room. No issues. Had a queen bed (two twins together) which was nice for a change on this trip. Would recommend. Breakfast was good.
The location is a couple blocks from the center of town and it's convenient to the ferry. The owner was awesome!! He showed me around town and took me out to the perfect location to photograph Puffins. It's a fully furnished apartment, complete with a nice kitchen.
Really liked location. Short walk from ferry/or easy parking depending on mode of transport. Good quiet place and owner very helpful re letting stay on later when ferry delayed. It has a huge fridge but no cooking facilities. I dont cook on holiday but be aware. Have to wash up in small sink in bathroom. Ideal for short stay.
