Beautiful view in a very convenient location off Highway 1. The staff is extremely nice. He was welcoming us in person when we arrived around the night fell-in. The breakfasts were carefully prepared with high quality.

We drive through a wind storm to get there. Once we arrived our room was snug and very protected from elements. It was a clean haven with amazing views. Sheep walked past our glass doors. It was quiet, clean and spacious.

Apartment by the Sea was a beautiful suite located in what appears have once been a barn, but now converted to residential use. There is also a small shop next to the Apartment. It's clean, well appointed and even had a clothes washer that I hadn't expected. The owners were very easy to work with. It also has nice views around the back of a small bay. I will stay here again next time I am in Hofn.

This is a basic apartment. It was what we expected - clean, with good space and comfortable bed. Pictures on booking.com are accurate. The hostess left us a bag of coffee for the french press, but we didn't find it till too late :)
Hofn is a working port town and the neighborhood doesn't look like much, but the whole town is like that.

The apartment was clean and cozy with exceptional water and mountain views. The host prepared a full breakfast each morning of our stay. This is a great place to stay on either a tour around the ring road or as the turn around point for a tour of southeastern Iceland.
