The summer staff are amazing humans. We didn't have a working phone and we got a flat tire in a remote area and they were very gracious and super helpful while we stressed out and tried to figure out what to do about our car. They made an awful experience so much better. The breakfast was delicious and filling and we enjoyed chatting with other guests. The private bath was small, but a nice perk. It's in a beautiful part of the country.
After many nights in hotels, the apartment was a nice change. We liked having multiple rooms. The view over harbor was pretty. The location was convenient to both the local restaurant Cafe Riis (great pizza) and the local brewery Galdur Brugghus (watched football with 8 locals!). The apartment's outdoor seating was a good place to unwind after the drive. The kitchen had everything we needed. The bathroom was good-sized for Iceland.

This is an incredible apartment! The views are beautiful. The house is clean and so much room. Don’t miss this place if you are staying in Holmavik. Kitchen is well stocked too. Most importantly they have a WASHER and DRYER!!!!! The bathroom is newly renovated with heated floors and really beautiful.
The apartment is very spacious, clean and comfortable with nice views into the harbour. Everything we needed was there and the host was extremely helpful.
