Where to start, Before checking in we visited Kirkjufell and the waterfall and I think I could actually see this apartment from there :D The blue roof just shines.
Upon entering, you're greeted by a washer and dryer, which was just perfect timing for us, The apartment has so much space and is just sooo comfortable. I wanted to pack up that lovely couch in the living room and take it back home with me.
The views from both bedrooms are amazing (mountain range and Kirkjufell).
Huge bathroom!
The kitchen was well equipped with just about everything.

We absolutely loved the location, the cottage, and all the amenities. We got to unwind and relax watching shows on the TV and we also got to see the Northern Lights with almost no light pollution from the deck outside! Truly amazing experience. They even shipped something that was left at the cottage all the way to the US for me. I couldn't ask for better hosts and would love to come visit again one day.

A very spacious apartment just around the corner from Kirkjufell. It sits right on the bay and has splendid water views. The kitchen is clean and fully equipped. I recommend G4 for a stay in this part of Iceland.
Very comfortable and modern apartment. There is a double bed in bedroom, but we also used the foldout couch in lounge room - one of the best double bed foldouts I have ever seen, so easy to put in & out. The owner who lives upstairs, allowed us to use her washing machine & dryer, which was much needed. We had fresh fruit and some chocolate waiting for us. Very pleasant stay, thank you very much.
Location is everything with this property... it is right on the waterfront, overlooking Kirkjufell! We stayed in one of the apartments which was very clean, with plenty of space and comfortable beds. We had everything we needed for self catering. The blackout curtains were perfect for a summer stay. Grundarfjordur is a great place to stay to explore the area and is small enough to walk to the supermarket and restaurants.
The guesthouse was amazing! Very well equipped kitchen and large. Organised staff and allocated parking space. Kind staff and very helpful as they assisted us when we needed help having a flat tyre and they spoke to the car rental to help us get the car fixed!
Wonderful location and really lucky to be upgraded to an apartment, had everything you needed for self catering and more. Plenty of space and a well fitted bathroom. Lovely to sit and watch the Northern lights
A lovely apartment and a perfect unit for self catering. Equipped well with modern appliances and stocked with staples. The view is lovely, nice and remote. Away from the hustle and bustle. The laundry was a bonus. Sparkling clean. Very comfortable - thank you.
This place was AWESOME! It's shiny and new and basically a series of two-bedroom condos/apartments with a view that is epic!!! Most people wind up in this area to see Kirkjufell mountain. And these apartments have a panoramic unobstructed view across the bay at Kirkjufell. With a sofa and sitting area in front that panorama that allows you to just chill out and enjoy the beauty of it all.
