You get a good view of the lake if you walk out of the hotel.
It was short stay we checked in late & left early also. But overall decent place, young staff who can order/ pickup food from local Resturant (Vishnu Dhaba) have to pay upfront :). They don’t cook anything so you have to order food or go out.
Everything about Whostels and it's owners/staff is welcoming and professional. I had a gr8 stay here. U must try their food, it's homely and delicious.
There are several facilities for sports and activities. I took bike rental from them at a very reasonable price.

Felt like staying at home with family. We stayed in a 3 room apartment along with big drawing room and kitchen. The place was clean and staffs were helpful. Mr. Basharat, owner of the place is a true gentleman. Location is a little far from Srinagar’s popular stays but if you are looking for a quiet and luxury stay, this place is awesome for the cost.
There were books in every room, even some good books for my kid. The place is a beautiful lawn and the terrace has a beautiful view.
The studio apartment is located inside a private property which makes it very safe and homely. The owner and his family are very welcoming. We felt like home throughout our stay. Location is also good and is within main city.
Its very peaceful place away from traffic and hustle bustle of daily life.
Mr. Sayir and his family are a wonderful host.
