Our stay at Vintage Villa was extremely comfortable. The room was spacious and clean, with a very big and comfortable bed. The rest of the house, which we could also use, had convenient spaces such as a large table in a dining room, couches at the entrance-living room, and a huge kitchen. But the highlight of our stay was Hari (the host) and his family: every morning, they made delicious breakfast for us (always tasty, abundant, and different everyday!); he also provided very nice services at a very good price, such as a boat trip in his shikara or motorbike rental; finally, he took great care of us, always trying to make our stay as comfortable and convenient as possible with tips and help with transportation (he got a friend pick us up from the bus top on arrival, gave us many lifts in his car, arranged tuk-tuk transportation with a reliable driver, and even shared his scooter with us when it was available). All we can say is Nanni Nanni Nanni and recommend his place to anyone!

This is a brand new homestay, in a secluded area of Marari beach with two rooms and lots of privacy in a big garden. After a five minute walk to the beach via a quiet little road, you will find a serene beach with two beach bars where you can have a beer, lovely local dishes and great seafood. The young owner, Sebastian studied hotelmanagement and is the most honoust and caring host we met in three months travelling through Kerala. He gave us lots good advice, arranged for a reliable taxidriver, showed the best shops and so on. We were really charmed with his cooking, the spacious rooms, the cleanliness, the brand new matresses, the very silent airconditioning and the tastefull interior design of the huge bathrooms. He made us tartare of fresh tuna with avocado, aioli, cocktails and so much more. We really fell in love with this place.

We were 6 people and this flat was a perfectly suited for our requirements. When we enter into facility it was super clean with facilities like bedsheets, towels, soap, iron box , wifi, kettle , gas stove which helped us to keep hot water for bath when there is no power in the early morning.
Comfortable rooms with comfortable beds , wardrobe and mirrors.... Feels like we were in home .

We had booked the apartment for 2 nights during our visit to Kumarakom for a medical conference. The apartment is located centrally and in close proximity to all major Kottayam spots.
The hosts were very welcoming and their customer service was excellent. Rooms and bathrooms were well maintained and the stand out point was the outside courtyard. An ideal personal terrace. The breakfast provided by the hosts was also great. All in all it was a great stay. Shall return

Karripals Inn was cheap, clean, bright and serviceable. The room had everything we needed for a short stay..ample storage space, great water pressure, TV. George, the host, was extremely helpful and welcoming; he went above and beyond to make our stay as pleasant and easy as possible.

Very good security staff, helped in carrying our luggage up and down the steps. Our Apt was on the 2nd floor.
He also got us milk and breakfast the nearby hotel as this is not available in the apartment.
